Holidays
It's been a busy month for me and my family. Our house is still under construction. It's been barely two months since the renovation started. Even my dog is covered with white dust. There's still a lot of work to be done though but we're almost down to the finishing touches before we can start working on another portion of our house (hopefully my room). This is by far the best thing that happened to us this year. Anyway, I had a busy time at school before our Christmas vacation, we had to finish our demos this year. I'm hoping to gain some weight during this short vacation since I'll be stuffed on parties and gatherings this coming holidays. I remember when I was younger, I used to look forward to Christmases and New Year celebrations, today it's enough for me to ponder the reason for the season. No fancy gifts this year, no special someone to greet nor to spend time with, no special surprises, just a moment spent to thank the Lord for His greatest gift, His son Jesus Christ. I hope to get back on my daily devotions and on my journal next year. I thought of having a girlfriend next year, but they don't just fall off from a tree so maybe I'll just wait, maybe I'll just buy me a new phone or study harder probably. Two things I've learned recently, first is to be contented and second is to be thankful to God. 2006 is just around the corner, I wonder what's in store for me next year... hmm... ^_^
