Grace
From Thursday 'til Sunday (Feb. 2-5) I was at the Luneta Grandstand as part of the Metro Manila Franklin Graham Festival Choir. As I stood there singing infront of the huge crowd, I felt honored to be a part of ministering to these people thru the songs that we we're singing, it was the message of God thru our voices. I thought to myself, these people need Christ as I do. The theme was all about praising God for His goodness and love, it's about sharing the gospel, it's about bringing the good news to people that there is hope and salvation through Christ. As I sang with the 3,000+ voice choir, I felt like the earth was shaking, that the angels in heaven were singing and rejoicing with us. I was trembling and suddenly didn't notice that my eyes we're already clouded with tears. And as I glanced on the people around me, I wasn't the only one who's teary, most of the people around me we're sobbing and wiping tears off their eyes, tears of awe and joy to what God is doing at that moment. Franklin Graham is the eldest son of the world reknowned evangelist Billy Graham who once said in an interview, "Mr. Graham, as a man of your stature, is there something that you haven't known or understand about God and His word?" He simply said, "I still haven't understand the meaning of grace. God's grace." It was grace that saved me, it was grace that made me understand the meaning of Christ's salvation, it is grace that I am still here today professing that it is only by grace that we are saved through Christ...(Eph. 2:8-9) To God be the glory! =)
