Dinner

Last Friday I went out on a dinner with my friends at school. Finals is up this week so before we lunge back into studying mode we went out to unwind and to bond. We were dismissed quite early, so we had ample time to hang around somewhere, unfortunately when we were at the mall we had to rush back to Kae's house and back to school to secure her exam permit, otherwise she cant take her finals. After we got her permit we went to review and discuss a bit about our exam. We fetched Liezel at her house around 7PM and had our dinner at Don Henricos in Tomas Morato. It was raining hard, Elaine's curfew is 10PM so we decided to drive her home to Makati. For the rest of us, it was still quite early to go home, and its been quite a while since we had Liezel's company so we stayed at Cafe Breton at Greenbelt for some crepes and chat. I was talking with Melai and Xandy, our topic was simple, yet profound. It has something to do with discovering our life's purpose. Normally, people dont discuss about things like that, or death perhaps? I was stirred up by our conversations and getting comfy on my chair. Kae and Liezel were busy chatting also, I wonder what could they be talking about, beauty tips probably, or Pinoy Big Brother (yay!). Our tête-à-tête was getting meaty and interesting when suddenly we noticed about the time. Which explains why I was getting woozy. Its 2AM, and not the glass of something. I had to fetch Charo at Vic's place. They got stranded earlier because of the downpour so they had to go back. My day ended at around 3AM when I got home. I gave Liezel and Xandy a copy of The Purpose Driven Life book, something beyond my friendship can offer. Hope it makes a difference in their lives.
