Poem

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way than this:
where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

- I was feeling a lil cheezy lately so I looked up for this poem. This poem was read by Hunter "Patch" Adams as a eulogy to her girlfriend in the movie. Patch read this poem by portion and the last portion which happens to be my favorite part was the part he read to her girlfriend's burial. Ang ganda ng poem di ba? Wish ko lang makagawa ako ng ganitong poem at hindi ako mamatayan ng girlfriend. Hehe... ^_^''

Phenomenon

Last night I went to our gig with my friends at school. Glad they were able to make it. I wasn't really prepared to sing any song (coz I haven't attended any rehearsals) but my friends told me that they went there to see me perform, they proded me, and so I did. Anxiously, I went to ask our pianist if she can play one of Ogie Alcasid's tune Mahal Kita Walang Iba. A bit embarrased, I forgot the second stanza of the song, I had to look at my cousin and lip sing it for me so I can remember and sing the next stanza. Funny, I was lost for words last night, and my spunk left me standing there like a talking log. A phenomenon like this only my Buddy can interpret... ü
