Sembreak
My sembreak was a blast. After a dreadful calorie-wasting, neuron-consuming, strength-draining and death-defying semester I was able to enjoy my time with my friends at church. Last Monday we went to Pangasinan to attend a wake and funeral where we conducted a necronomical service. We spent a night at a resort nearby the town of Alaminos. Of course, after the ceromonies where else could we be found but at Hundred Islands. We took a 30-min boat ride to visit the famous islands. We stopped at Governor's Island and hiked at the peak where we had an amazing view of the islands. Afterwards, we picked an island spot where we can go swimming. We all went home tired and sleepy with a fully-loaded memory stick. All expenses paid but excluding souvenirs. I was able to pick a sea shell for Friend Xandy, I named him Stench. Ambaho kasi ng shell amoy daing! hehe...
Part II
Saturday, last day of the week. The Worship Team of Caloocan Bible Church spent it's retreat slash rest and recreation at Fontana Leisure Park at Clark Field, Pampanga. Compared to last Monday's escapade at Pangasinan, this went off the charts on the fun and adventure scale. We took a ride at the Giant Slide, had a crazy fun splash at the Wave Pool, lazed at the Lazy River, and basically got wet and burned under the sun. Our lunch was at a famous "bulaluhan" within Clark Airbase. After a life-threatening, protein-riched cholesterol-filled lunch we went back to the resort to burn them in the water. (Burn them in the water? Hmm...sounds impossible. I've finally discovered something. Cool!) Same thing that happened last Monday, we went home, tired, sleepy, and with a loaded-stick plus all-burned up! Ooh...what a rush! RAWR!!! ^_^
